President of the Government visited House of the Azores of Madeira, a space “projecting” the Region in our neighbouring archipelago
The President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, visited today the House of the Azores of Madeira, highlighting that the space “projects” the Azores in our neighboring archipelago.
Accompanied by the President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, and members of both governments, José Manuel Bolieiro stressed that this House brings out the “emotional component” and ties between peoples, in addition to being a space for the future.
“Madeira is an unparalleled gateway in its cosmopolitanism as a tourist destination,” said José Manuel Bolieiro, who ensured that the Regional Government will seek “solutions to enhance the activity carried out by this House of the Azores and its social bodies.”
After the visit to the House of the Azores, the delegations from both governments visited the Azorean products shop “Queijaria da Avó” located in downtown Funchal.
The Government of the Azores and the Government of Madeira ended today a three-day summit, which was a moment of union and projection of the future for both archipelagos.
